It is the largest single object on the outside of your home and is, therefore, incredibly eye catching. When people pass by, this is what jumps out at them. If you have a beat up overhead door that has been dented, dirtied or rusted then this is how people see your house—no matter how clean the rest of the exterior is. Working the same way, a colorful over head door jumps out at people as well. On a block where all of the houses are made of the same dull colored brick, a couple of bright colored overhead doors on your double garage will certainly stand out as a happy sight. It sets a certain mood that instantly becomes reflective of the rest of your home. So when you have to go out and choose new overhead doors give it a lot of thought. Besides durability and strength you need something that will reflect the aesthetic you are going for. The overhead doors you choose should be something the rest of your house would be proud to have. |
