Instead, the door would have a solid piece of tempered safety glass that is 8mm thick with a bronze or gray tint, depending on availability and manufacturer. In many cases, ordering a bronze tint sauna door can take several months to get in that this is usually a more customized order. The benefit to a solid glass sauna door is that it could open up into a spa area since the chlorine or humidity would not cause any problem with warping, shrinkage, or twisting. When you order a solid glass sauna door, many times the doorjamb would be made from pine. Just as with a wood sauna door, the glass option also comes in a variety of sizes, which would depend on the size of the sauna. Finally, you could choose an exclusive sauna door, which is usually made from solid wood rails finished with Fir lamination. The benefit to an exclusive door is a longer life. You will also find exclusive glass options, many that have beautiful etching done by famous artists. In fact, you could choose an exclusive sauna door that is designed with a positive or negative image, both wonderful choices.
